Nate Silas

Nate Silas has spent the last several years travelling and living overseas, learning about the history, folklore and music of other cultures and has now returned home to Vancouver Island. He writes songs with meaningful lyrics that tell a story whilst also lifting people’s spirits. These songs are influenced by books, landscapes and people Nate meets along the way. Nate responds dynamically to the energy and interaction he gets from his audience, so no two of his live gigs are the same. As well as his original songs, Nate re-visits a few familiar songs everyone can hum along with, from the traditional canon and from some more contemporary Canadian and international artists.
